Edna Harding

Selected as the 2015-2016 VIP Woman of the Year by the National Association for Professional Women (NAPW) and Review It Magazine’s Cover Story for the 7th Annual Most Influential Women in Business for 2017, Edna has credited all her success and tenacity to overcome life’s challenges to her reliance on the Word of God and her relentless faith. She is a public speaker whose messages are geared towards Entrepreneurs, Leaders, or Women. She is KHOU’s local business coach of choice. Edna is the CEO of Favor and Wealth, a growth consulting firm based in the Galleria that works exclusively with Entrepreneurs, CEOs, and Leaders of businesses and organizations globally to improve and transform business and personnel performance. She is a Messenger of Life at Esther’s Oil Ministries which she Speaks Healing, Deliverance, and Wholeness for Women who are in Transition from a broken place to an abundant place either in a group or a personal setting. She currently serves as the Chairman for the Spring Klein Chamber of Commerce and a Board Member for the Houston Gateway Academy.

Edna is from the island of Oahu, Hawaii who moved to Houston in Dec 2005 in hopes of fulfilling her dreams to change the marketplace and impact the world for the better. She graduated from the Bauer Business College and the Program for Excellence in Selling at the University of Houston with a degree in Marketing and International Studies. She is a Certified John Maxwell Trainer, Speaker, and Coach. Her passion is to teach and implement Kingdom principles in the marketplace enabling business owners, management, and professionals to identify their God given gifts and abilities to be effective leaders and accelerate their business. She is well versed in building strategic partnerships through persuasion, negotiation and personal presence.

She has demonstrated over 15 years of success in B2B Sales, management, operations, project management, recruiting, and marketing roles across various industries including engineering, supply chain solutions, staffing, IT, industrial, oil and gas, financial, non profits, and education just to name a few. Over the past nine years, she has secured over $500 million of business for employers she has worked for and clients she has coached.

Edna is a member of the Women Business Enterprise Alliance and the Rotary Club of Houston. She is also an Executive Business Adviser for the Prison Entrepreneurship Program. She is a published author of a book called the Ugly Side of Sales.

Anthony A. Shorrosh

Anthony A. Shorrosh is the President of Shorco Enterprises, Inc. as well as the Franchisee and Co-Franchisee of multiple Denny’s restaurants. Since 2010, Anthony was elected as Chairman of the Houston DMA Co-Op and proudly accepted the call, and continued to serve on the Denny’s Brand Advisory Board (BAC).
Anthony graduated from Klein High School in 1992 and from Lone Star College Houston in 2004 with an ABA degree in Business. He also did post graduate studies in Marketing, Finance and Economics.
Anthony worked in retail and restaurants as a part time employee from 1992 until 1995 when he joined his father, Assad Shorrosh, in opening the first Denny’s franchised restaurant in the Houston market starting as an MIT at Denny’s corporate stores. Anthony loves to cook. He has grown in the restaurant business from managing one store to overseeing the current daily operations of eight stores with sales over $12 million annually.

Harris County Housing Authority
As native Houstonian with a passion for economic development and connecting business services to the needs of people in the community, Timika Simmons is the new Director of Public Affairs for the Harris County Housing Authority. Prior to her role with The Harris County Housing Authority, Timika spent 20 years in the healthcare industry initially as a patient care providerand later as an administrator and best practices leader of strategic planning and business development teams for Fortune 500 organizations such as Community Health Systems and the Houston Methodist Hospital System.

Timika currently serves as chairman of the board for the Spring Klein Chamber of Commerce, board member for TOMAGWA Healthcare Ministries, chair for The Woodlands Chamber Annual Business Summit on Healthcare and creator and chair of the Tomball Health and Wellness Alliance. Her recently termed roles include the Montgomery County United Way’s Work Place Wellness Council. She also spent 3 years participating in mission trips to the Dominican Republic providing needs and education to children in that region.

Timika is a graduate of the University of Houston college systems where she served as student regent liaison, business manager and writer for the campus newspaper and voted most inspiring student by her graduating class. She was also awarded a distinguished internship with the Greater Houston Partnership where her passion for community and business leadership was ignited. Through public speaking, policy advocacy, volunteer and committee involvement, Timika is known for compassion,consistency and connecting people to resources and influencing positive change for overall continuum of care and better population health management.
In her spare time Timika enjoys 3 beautiful daughters, Sade, Zoe and Katelyn, traveling, running half-marathons, cycling, and kayaking.

Doug Bartsch

Doug Bartsch is founder and lead pastor of HISplace Family Church in Spring. He and his wife, Kim, are the parents of two children. Doug and Kim are passionate about encouraging and strengthening marriages and families. Doug has been active in the Spring Klein Chamber since 2012. He began serving on the Chamber Board in 2013 and serves as the Chairman-Elect in 2014. Prior to becoming a pastor, Doug served as an auditor, CPA and provided accounting support to several international divisions of a large multi-national corporation. He is entrepreneurial, is a practical communicator, loves to coach and encourage others and cares deeply about our amazing community

Robin Favara

Robin became a chamber member in 2009, then a board member in 2010, and ultimately the chairman in 2014. Highlights of Robin’s time here include chairing the new membership campaign and creating the Ambassador Team. Professionally, Robin started her career in banking with Prosperity Bank in 2000, where she quickly rose to the position of branch manager. During her time with First Victoria Bank from 2008 to 2013, she facilitated many successful relationships between the bank and its business customers. In 2013, these accomplishments earned Robin her current position as Vice President of Post Oak Bank. Robin’s greatest achievement is her wonderful family. She and her husband, Joseph, have been married for 28 years and have 3 wonderful children: Joseph, Tony, and Kelly.

Terry McDougle

Terry McDougle taught science in public schools where she was active in various education organizations. She has served on several boards ranging from local subdivision boards to the state board for Career Colleges and Schools of Texas. McDougle began her career in real estate in the mid 1980’s and is now the broker for her residential real estate company, McDougle Homes.
